The Knot Inc., Nasdaq (KNOT), a leading NYC-based premier media company, seeks an Ad Trafficker to assist in the development and deployment of online advertising campaigns on our flagship website, www.theknot.com as well as all sites under The Knot Inc. family of brands.
Ad Trafficker will report to the Director of Ad Operations and play a key role in the function of the ad operations group. This role is responsible for management of advertising campaigns including:
- Management of display and video ad campaigns
- Daily management includes trafficking, pacing, optimization, and reporting of ad campaigns
- Evaluation and testing of all ad creative for compliance of site specifications as well as functionality
- Trafficking and implementation of targeting and 3rd party tracking to support specific requirements of an Insertion Order
- Partner with Account Managers to maintain advertiser client relationships and maximize their campaigns
- Discuss and troubleshoot tags, functionality, issues, ad conflicts, etc with Account Managers/Account Services Director/AdOps Director/Clients/Agencies/DFP Support teams, as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of online ad trafficking using DoubleClick (DFP) Dart for Publishers is REQUIRED
- Exceptional relationship management and communication.
- Proficiency in Excel, SnagIt, Power Point, Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.
- Strong understanding of online ad serving, rich media and best practices.
- Basic HTML, page/ad tag coding understanding.
- Experience with 3rd party tags from Atlas, DoubleClick, 24/7 Real Media, Point Roll, Eyeblaster, etc.
- Comfort and experience with a fast paced environment
- Attention to detail and enthusiasm to execute quality campaigns and results for our advertisers.
- Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Key attributes to succeed in this position include:
- Experience specifically with DART for Publishers is a must.
- Possess a good understanding of how online advertising works. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, SnagIT, HTML and rich media formats required.
- Education – Bachelors Degree required
