Editor / Producer -- The Knot Inc. (New York)


The Knot, Inc. is looking for an experienced online/offline editor to work with an amazingly talented team of editors, writers and producers to create fun, innovative and smart content for its websites and magazines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating new articles, tools and features; and implementing them into the content management system.
  • Coming up with lineups for print publications and seeing ideas through to production and shipping.
  • Responding quickly to news events and editorializing them for our audience.
  • Working with product managers and developers to initiate new concepts.
  • Writing weekly newsletters and keeping track of the success of different promotions.
  • Analyzing user feedback and data to evaluate programming online and offline and tailoring content based on that research.
  • Coordinating the flow of content and partnerships between editorial, business and membership.
  • Day-to-day site maintenance.


Candidates must:

  • Love news, pop culture, weddings and all lifestyle topics.
  • Have experience writing/producing content for the web.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Love all things techy.
  • Thrive in a team setting.
  • Be extremely organized.
  • Bonus points to anyone who has their own blog!
