Product Manager (New York)

The Knot, the innovative consumer internet content company focused on weddings and other fun women's lifestyle topics, needs passionate, articulate, organized, creative and experienced product manager to OWN core tools and services in the company's suite of lifestyle websites.

On your To Do List once you get this job...

  • Develop new product features to improve the user experience on core sites + services
  • Develop new tool and product concepts
  • Define product requirements
  • Work closely with editorial, commerce, and business groups
  • Coordinate initiatives with other departments like marketing
  • Coordinate the resolution of technical issues
  • Collect and analyze user feedback
  • Track success of your products

What you need to be to get this job...

  • Able to work in a really fast-paced environment
  • Smart and creative BUT super organized too
  • Interested in being a decision maker
  • Experienced -- 3yrs+ as a product manager in content or ecommerce is critical
  • Passionate about online, social networking, ecommerce, weddings, etc.
  • Fast at drafting product requirements documents and product specs.
  • Familiar with Web analytics tools (e.g. CoreMetrics, WebTrends, etc.).
  • Excellent at writing, communicating, analyzing
