Spring 2010 Intern -- TheKnot.com (New York)

TheKnot.com is looking for a spring-semester intern with a strong interest in online publishing to begin immediately. Your primary duties will be developing niche wedding websites and assisting in other general departmental projects. You will likely have additional opportunities to research, write, blog, and produce slideshows for TheKnot.com and our other brands, as well as attend photo shoots and other events.

You need to be tech- and Internet-savvy, a strong writer, able to handle multiple tasks, reliable, very organized, and not afraid to ask questions. You should also be proficient in HTML and experienced with Adobe Photoshop and the Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of CMS is preferred and an interest in weddings is helpful. Undergraduate emphasis in journalism, English, or communications is a plus but not required. Class credit will be provided.
